Highest quality of life
Frösunda started with the idea that everyone can participate in society if they have the right opportunities. More than 19 years of experience has shown us that we
were right. Today we have a staff of 7,000 throughout Sweden who provide care, support and service to people with disabilities or social problems. We also run schools and we are growing in the elderly care sector as well. That makes us one of the largest private care providers in Sweden.
We are driven by strong humanistic values and our goal is to offer our customers the highest possible quality of life. Quality in all that we do is also a key issue for us and will continue to be in the future.
Frösunda operates in a sector where trust is extremely important. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with special needs due to a disability, dementia or a difficult family situation. Trust is not something you can win by just talking. It's about doing things – what we do, how we do it and who does it.
The services we provide are governed by the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), Act Concerning Compensation for Assistance (LASS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). Frösunda has been in business since 1994.
During spring 2010 HG Capital acquired Frösunda from the former owner Polaris Equity. HG Capital is a leading investor in European sector focused private equity market. Health care is, among other, a sector they specialized within. As Frösunda's owner, HG Capital contributes with deep sector knowledge and a proactive partnership.
